Freelancer’s Toolbox 2 | Project Management Discussion
That glimmer is there on the pages of your sketchbook. Maybe you even have some storyboards, or even an animatic! Okay, so how do you organize yourself and the production in order to create an animated short? Temris Ridge, an accomplished Portland-based freelance animator, will tell us how she answered that question during the production of her 2014 animated short “Zombie Fairy.”
We’ll follow up with a panel discussion and Q&A session amongst many successful freelance and indie animators living and working in the Portland area, including Temris, Mike A. Smith, and Alex Miller.
Date: Saturday November 5th, 2:00pm – 4:00pm
Location: Shut Up and Eat, 3848 SE Gladstone St., Portland, OR 97202
Tickets: Available on Eventbrite: $5 general admission, $3 students, free for Cascade ACM SIGGRAPH and ASIFA Portland members
